Measuring ministry can be really difficult. Tangible numbers don’t always tell the story. However, that’s not to say that statistics can’t be helpful.
Below is a list (subject to change) of some stats I’ve tracked before in sports ministry. What would you add or subtract?
- Total participation
- Participation from the church
- Participation from other churches
- Non-believing participation
- Returning participation
- New participation
- Total equipped coaches/volunteers
- New equipped coaches/volunteers
- Number of families assimilated into the church from the sports ministry
- Number of people in ministry who are truly living on mission
