The first thing we must deal with is asking whether we truly believe that the gospel is good news in our lives, and if it is the prevailing narrative we live for.

Please, don’t let this lower your bar of equipping but rather raise your bar of the power of the Spirit’s work.
Is it producing disciples who make disciples? Is it producing a hunger among non-believers to know more about God? Is it producing transformational relationships between believers and non-believers?
Where I disagree is where Tebow says that football is just a silly game. Tebow does a disservice to the intersection of sports and Christianity when he says this.
“Just in terms of allocation of time resources, religion is not very efficient. There’s a lot more I could be doing on a Sunday morning.”
Because getting into spiritual conversations can be so nerve-wracking, it’s good to have a few tools in your tool-belt that can get things going.
