This is truly a sobering article about a seminary student and his idol of a seminary education which eventually led to his divorce. Excerpts can’t do this article justice–you just need to read it. I post it on this blog though because whether it’s seminary or your ministry–either can be made an idol and either can cause strain on a marriage.
I pray for all of us in ministry that we would remember that “marriage is gospel ministry.”
