Over the course of 2011, we hope to highlight new sports that have been recently created. As sports ministry leaders, we have the ability to be innovative and to leverage these new sports for ministry.
Today we are highlighting Pickleball. Ever heard of it? Probably not. Below is a description of how to play. Looks like this may be a great sport for senior adults? What do you think?
Pickleball is a racquet sport that includes elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis.
It’s played on a court with the same dimensions as a doubles badminton court, but with a lower than usual net.
It’s played with a hard paddle and a wiffle ball.
